We wanted to help IT service providers better understand their customer's needs, values, and preferences. So we commissioned a survey of 435 IT decision-makers across Australia, India, New Zealand, and Singapore to get on-the-ground data. The result is this 40+ page report with hundreds of data points to help IT service providers better understand their customers and make strategic decisions on how to grow their business.
Although IT decision-makers choose to utilize IT service providers for a wide range of reasons, the top driver shows that many organizations are looking for IT partners that can add value through strategic initiatives and domain expertise. By moving beyond a transactional model through project and managed service offerings, IT service providers can move ahead of the competition.
47% of IT decision-makers stated their department's workload has increased in the last 6 months. But their IT outsourcing budget has kept pace to meet the growing demands of remote work and cloud adoption. Only 26% have increased headcount, showing a greater shift towards utilization of outsourced services over growing in-house teams.
